Avera Hartington Clinic in Hartington, Nebraska seeks a PRN Receptionist to support patient access across clinic areas. You will check in patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments and help navigate the clinic system.

This role handles insurance verifications, authorizations, signing consent forms, scans records, answers calls, schedules appointments, and coordinates with nurses and physicians to smooth patient flow. You will represent the clinic with empathy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Welcomes patients, checks in, completes registration including demographics and insurance.
• Handles insurance verifications, authorizations and consent forms.
• Scans information into the patient records.
• Answers calls and routes to appropriate departments.
• Maintains appointment scheduling and follows office policies.
• Coordinates nurse, physician and patient time to expedite care.
