Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients and families; explain services and processes.
• Identify insurance coverage, benefits and patient financial responsibilities for walk-ins.
• Verify coverage using electronic systems and resolve in-network status issues.
• Pre-register and register patients accurately; manage demographic and insurance data.
• Support department policies, HIPAA considerations and team objectives.
