Job summary

Stonehenge of Orem in Orem, UT seeks a dedicated PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and treating patients with physical functioning disorders in a post-acute geriatric setting.

The role involves collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, administering therapies, and generating discharge summaries in compliance with clinical standards. OTAs of all experience levels are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license required.
• Open to OTAs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments per regulatory standards.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning as needed to care for patients.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plans, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers on physical disorders.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
