Job summary

Green Valley Rehabilitation Center in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a Cook to prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs and regulatory standards. The role includes mornings shifts on a PRN basis with variable hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food handler's permit / ServSafe certification as per State requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals per planned menus, diet plans, and recipes.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
• Ensure trays match menu and diet preferences and proper food storage.
• Work in non-temperature regulated environments near ovens and stoves.
• Assist in inventorying and storing incoming foods and supplies; report hazards.
