Job summary

Shifts run 7am-2pm or 11am-7pm with varied scheduling discussed in interview. Collaboration with Dietary/Dining Services and nursing staff is essential to align care plans with resident diets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions with attention to details.
• Maintains sanitation and ServSafe guidelines across shifts.
• Willingness to obtain ServSafe Manager certification within 30 days of hire.
• Demonstrated knowledge of high standards in food preparation and storage.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with dining and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.
• Prepare alternative menu options and snacks as needed.
• Adapt recipes for dietary needs (low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, vegetarian).
• Accommodate memory care dining challenges (finger foods, flexible times).
• Maintain sanitary kitchen, prep, and dishwashing areas; log temperatures.
