Avante at Orlando is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services to residents, assisting in assessment, treatment planning and implementation, and related documentation.

This role works under supervision of an Occupational Therapist and offers daily pay options and a collaborative, supportive work environment.

Experience with long-term care and an associate degree in OT are valued; state licensure or licensure eligibility is required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to carry out treatment plans as designed by supervising therapist
• Ability to document daily care as per established guidelines.
• Ability to effectively communicate response to treatment intervention to residents, family, and other team members.

Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification for O.T.A.
• Current state licensure or license eligible.
• 0-3 years of long-term care experience.

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
