Job summary

The Marina Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team in a Florida skilled nursing facility. You will work with Occupational Therapists and an interdisciplinary team to help residents maximize independence in daily activities.

You will provide treatments, assist ADLs and mobility, monitor progress, educate residents and caregivers, and document adherence to regulations. A Florida COTA license and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Florida COTA license in good standing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
