Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy services to patients, assisting in assessment, treatment, and program implementation. You will document care and communicate results under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in physical therapy.
• Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
• Current state licensure or license eligible.

Qualifications:

• Ability to carry out treatment plans as designed by supervising therapist
• Ability to document daily care as per established guidelines.
• Ability to effectively communicate response to treatment intervention to residents, family, and other team members.

Education and Experience:

• Associate’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
• Current state licensure or license eligible.
• 0-3 years of long-term care experience.

Background Screening Requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
