Job summary

Avante Group in Orlando is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to oversee and coordinate resident assessments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for our in-house therapy department. The role includes direct services, documentation, and communication under physicians' orders.

Applicants should have a B.S. in Occupational Therapy, valid OTR certification, state licensure or eligibility, and 0–3 years in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of National Certification Examination for O.T.R.
• Current state licensure or license eligible.
• 0–3 years of long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents in need of skilled occupational therapy intervention.
• Interpret and communicate results of assessments.
• Design and execute appropriate treatment plans.
