Zusammenfassung

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will plan and deliver therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, helping residents improve independence and quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred. Net Health documentation skills are a plus; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Active and valid Texas OTA license.
• COTA credential required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy practices.
• Experience with Net Health EDM preferred.

Aufgaben

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
