Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will plan and administer OT services to residents under supervision, aiming to enhance independence and quality of life.

Texas-licensed OTA with COTA credential; SNF or long-term care experience preferred; familiarity with Net Health documentation; strong communication and teamwork skills; flexible PRN schedule with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OTA license
• COTA credential
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer OT treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function
• Provide OT services under supervision of an OT
• Relay information and referrals to the OT when needed
• Deliver treatments per established plan of care
• Provide clinical support to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient responses and report changes
• Complete required documentation timely per policy and regulations
• Attend meetings as designated by Rehab leadership
