Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and support independence in ADLs/IADLs.

Texas license required; SNF or long-term care experience preferred. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and document care in the Net Health Electronic Documentation System, while delivering person-centered care focused on safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to evaluate their condition and daily occupation impact.
• Assess and interpret evaluations and test results.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for ADLs/IADLs.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and training to support independence.
• Deliver treatments per the plan of care and adjust as needed.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Document thoroughly and timely per policies and regulations.
