Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team in Fort Worth, Texas. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve independence and improve quality of life under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Applicants must hold an active Texas OTA license and the COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SKILLED NURSING FACILITY or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure treatments align with the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes.
• Complete required documentation per policy and regulations.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
