Job summary

Position includes day shift with hourly pay and opportunities for CEUs and ongoing education; CPR certification is required at hire or during orientation.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required at hire; renewal optional.
• OT program degree: BSOT or MSOT.
• Current state license active; maintain good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; stay current.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Liaises with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrates good body mechanics at all times.
• Makes independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledgeable of practices and procedures in post-acute care facilities.
• Implements and interprets department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains patient rights, safety and sanitation competencies.
• Maintains professional relationships with associates and vendors.
• Maintains confidentiality of information.
• Follows company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
• Demonstrates integrity and completes Code of Conduct training.
