Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients per physician referral in a post-acute setting. The role requires NBCOT certification at hire, a BSOT/MSOT, and an active state license with CPR current.

Candidates with a year of experience are preferred, though new grads are welcome. The OT will collaborate with OTAs, rehab aides, and other staff, maintain documentation, and adhere to Life Care standards and policies.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required at hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT/MSOT).
• Must hold active OT license in the applicable state.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification at hire and maintained throughout employment.

Responsabilités

• Follow occupational therapy treatment plans for patients.
• Establish and modify realistic, measurable, timely goals.
• Oversee care provided by OTAs and rehab aides.
• Chart patient information promptly and accurately.
• Use therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism.
• Assist in patient evacuation when needed.
• Maintain dependable attendance and collaboration on a team.
• Demonstrate good judgment and safe body mechanics.
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
