As an Acute Care Occupational Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living. You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines. This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients.
Your Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist – Acute Care
Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previouslevel of functioning or proceedto next level of care
Establish timelytreatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members
Build and maintainrelationships throughout the hospital (I.e.physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
Qualifications
Graduate ofanAOTA approvedoccupationaltherapy program
State Licensure
Registered with NBCOT
Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
Pay Range
$50 - $60 / hour
Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position
