Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a part-time RN for the 8DE High Risk Post Partum unit. The PRN night shift runs 7pm–7am and requires a minimum of 36 hours in a 6-week period, with a 1:4.5 nurse-to-patient ratio that adapts to acuity.

Obstetric and gynecologic care are provided around the clock. Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited nursing program, be licensed as a Registered Nurse, and hold BLS; ACLS/PALS are required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN experience of at least 6 months; not for new graduates.
• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure safety and quality of care.
