Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 8T Mother Baby Nursing Unit on a part-time basis (two 12-hour night shifts, 7pm-7am). The unit serves postpartum mothers and newborns with a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Requirements include accredited nursing program completion, RN license in state, at least 6 months RN inpatient experience, and BLS; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire. Weekend and holiday work required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN inpatient experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• At least 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care and ensure a safe patient environment across the care continuum.
