Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC seeks a PRN Night Nurse for the 8DE High Risk Post Partum unit. This 18-bed unit features a 1:4.5 nurse-to-patient ratio and requires night shifts 7p–7a with a minimum of 36 hours in a 6-week cycle.

Candidates must complete an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS are required within 6 months. Inpatient RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe environment and optimal patient experience.
