Job summary

Duke University Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Antenatal & High‑Risk Postpartum Unit at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. The RN will provide skilled nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients, including continuous assessment and medication management, during night shifts.

Requirements include 1+ year of clinical nursing experience, BSN or higher (or ADN/diploma with progression), and NC RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical nurse experience required.
• BSN or higher preferred; ADN or Nursing Diploma acceptable with progression.
• Current North Carolina RN licensure and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise total nursing care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications including high‑alert meds and monitor patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support maternal and fetal care.
