Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD, seeks a High Risk Antepartum Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm–7am). The role reports to the Nurse Manager of High-Risk Perinatology.

The unit is designated MIEMSS Level IIIB Perinatal Referral Center and provides 24/7 expert care for high-risk pregnancies. You will join a team coordinating with Labor & Delivery, MFM, Neonatology, and NICU to monitor and care for high-risk obstetric patients.

Qualifications

1 year of Antepartum or Labor & Delivery nursing experience or 1 year of hospital experience.
Current Maryland State Board of Nursing license or compact state RN license.
BLS certification (American Heart Association) required; life support training as unit requires.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN/MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for patients with complications (premature labor, hypertension, diabetes, autoimmune disease, etc.).
Coordinate care with Labor & Delivery, MFM physicians, neonatologists, and NICU.
Administer magnesium for pre-term labor, preeclampsia, and newborn protection.
Perform cervical ripening and fetal monitoring for medically-indicated inductions.
