MedStar Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care across age groups in a hospital setting. You will administer therapies, monitor equipment, and document care based on physician orders and established protocols.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of acute care experience, CRT certification, and Maryland licensure with CPR/NRP within 90 days. This on-site role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human respiratory anatomy, physiology and pathology.
• Experience with respiratory care equipment and clinical application.
• Ability to assess hazardous conditions and take corrective action.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• License requirements and certifications as specified in the postings.

Responsabilités

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders following standards of practice.
• Assess patient needs, document educational needs and develop care plans.
• Perform therapies including oxygen, ventilation support, bronchial hygiene and spirometry.
• Monitor patients and review electronic medical records during shifts.
• Respond to CPR and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed.
• Ensure workflow efficiency and compliance with policies and safety standards.
