Zusammenfassung

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist for a PRN role at our Los Alamitos facility. The technologist ensures patient safety and produces high-quality MR images, on-site or remotely, and may train new technologists and assistants.

Experience with MR systems, ARRT MR registration, and state licensing where applicable is required. The role includes collaboration with radiologists and cross-functional teams to deliver diagnostic imaging services.

Qualifikationen

• Requires ARRT, NMTCB or ARMDS MR registration with MR oversight; ARMRIT accepted per contract.
• Active MR licensure or eligibility where required by state law.
• CPR/BLS at hire; ACLS within 90 days where applicable.

Aufgaben

• Perform high-quality MR studies on-site and/or remote; operate multiple MR systems as needed.
• Prioritize patient safety with pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic technique.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, staff, patients, and customers; train new technologists and assistants.
• Collaborate with team to address concerns and ensure smooth MRI workflow.
• Other duties as assigned.
