Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN PET/CT Technologist for the Seattle area. This mobile role involves travel to multiple sites, delivering high-quality imaging with a patient-centered approach.

The candidate will use equipment and software to produce diagnostic PET/CT studies, maintain safety standards, and communicate clearly with patients and radiologists. Flexibility and strong multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification preferred.
• State license and CPR certification required in applicable regions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Seattle metro area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety including pre-screening, aseptic technique and radiation safety.
• Produce high quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and troubleshoot scanner and equipment.
