Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN PET/CT Technologist to join our Oregon mobile team. This role offers two 12‑hour days per week, with flexibility to support multiple locations and patient‑centered care.

The technologist will perform PET/CT imaging with strong attention to safety, quality, and patient comfort. Qualified candidates bring NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification, a state license where required, CPR, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver's license if applicable.
• Ability to work at multiple locations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, including pre‑screening and radiation safety documentation.
• Produce high quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment.
