Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN PET/CT Technologist to join our Oregon mobile team. This role offers two 12-hour days per week, with responsibilities spanning patient safety, image acquisition, and cross-location collaboration.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB/ARRT(N) certification or state license, CPR, and 1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience, plus strong communication and customer service skills. Willingness to work at multiple sites is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification/state license.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to work at multiple locations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• 1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Associate's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening and radiation safety compliance.
• Produce high quality PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Train new technologists/PCs.
• Troubleshoot the scanner and peripheral equipment.
