Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Regional PET/CT Technologist to provide scanning coverage across multiple locations. You will ensure high-quality PET/CT studies and patient safety while communicating effectively with physicians and staff.

The role requires 3+ years in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT/NMTCB certification, CPR, and the ability to travel up to 90% in a mobile imaging environment. This position supports patient care in outpatient settings and hospitals.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification.
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• 3+ years’ Nuclear Medicine experience in high-pressure environments with patient satisfaction focus.
• Experience managing relationships with physicians and customers.
• Ability to travel up to 90%.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images with patient safety in mind.
• Collaborates with Account Development Directors and Radiology Directors on protocols and quality.
• Troubleshoots scanners and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils).
• Assists Sales team with start-ups and new business as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
