Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN PET/CT Technologist to join our Oregon mobile team, working two 12-hour days per week. The role involves producing high-quality PET/CT images, ensuring patient safety, and communicating with patients and radiologists across mobile, freestanding, or hospital sites.

The ideal candidate will hold NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, State license where required, CPR, and flexible availability to work at multiple locations. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening and radiation safety procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment.
