Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant; Degree in social work, recreation therapy, or therapeutic discipline desirable.
• Experience: Minimum one year of related experience with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques.
• Licensure: None.
• Additional Requirements: Handle with Care, Service Excellence, CPR certs required; may work weekends/nights/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient.
• Observe and document changes in a patient's appearance, behavior, or progress toward treatment goals.
• Communicate changes in patient's condition to the charge nurse.
