Job summary

National Emergency Management and Response seeks reservist clinicians with a Master’s in Social Work or related Behavioral Science and appropriate licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMSW-AP) to provide on-call psychosocial services during disasters. The role requires demonstrated postgrad clinical experience and adherence to state and federal guidelines.

Reservists work on an as-needed basis, travel on short notice, and are paid for actual hours worked.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work (MSW) or a master’s in Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or other relevant Behavioral Science.
• Certification required LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LMSW, and/or LMSW-AP.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to National EMR Policies and Procedures Manual, Uniform Handbook, and Operations Manual.
• Provide case consultations, one-to-one counseling, and crisis intervention.
• Prepare goal-oriented psychosocial assessments, service plans and progress reports.
• Maintain therapeutic services and contribute to client tracking and monthly audits.
