Job summary

National Emergency Management and Response is seeking qualified Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to join our Medical Reservist Team in Texas. This on‑call role supports disaster response and public health missions, with deployments within 24–48 hours and potential assignment to large‑scale emergencies.

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited PA program or NP program, hold current board certification and unrestricted licensure, and meet FEMA ICS training requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited PA program and NCCPA certification or NP program with ANCC/AANP certification.
• Licensed to practice medicine without restrictions in state or federal installations.
• Current APP license and unrestricted DEA registration required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers and ACLS current.
• Must complete FEMA ICS training (IS-100.c, IS-200.b, IS-700.b, IS-800.c).

Responsibilities

• Reservist medical support for emergencies and disaster responses.
• Available to deploy within 24–48 hours as needed.
• Provide family practice/ED level care in high‑volume settings.
• Travel to incident sites as required.
