Job summary

Cognito LLC, a Planned Systems International (PSI) joint venture, seeks a PRN Medical Records Technician to support IHSC at the T. Don Hutto Detention Center in Taylor, TX. The MRT handles eHR, data entry, and document filing, ensuring timely and accurate records for providers.

Responsibilities include scheduling, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting mission needs with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic health records (eHR) for IHSC.
• Receive, scan, verify, and file medical documentation.
• Schedule appointments and perform data entry in eHR.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
