Job summary

Cognito LLC, a Planned Systems International (PSI) joint venture, seeks a Medical Records Technician to support IHSC at the Montgomery Processing Center in Conroe, TX. The MRT will maintain the electronic health record, scan and file medical documentation, and schedule appointments while upholding confidentiality and accuracy.

The role requires proficiency in MS Word/Excel/SharePoint, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Heartsaver CPR AED certification required.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience handling electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic health records (eHR) for IHSC.
• Receive, scan, verify, and file medical documentation.
• Schedule appointments and run data reports in the eHR.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
