Marathon Health is hiring a PRN Medical Assistant in Cookeville, TN. The successful candidate will support a primary care team, acting as both a front-desk liaison and clinical staff member, delivering patient care and ensuring a positive guest experience.

The role requires MA training, CPR/BLS, and phlebotomy experience. The position offers flexible PRN hours, benefits, and a collaborative work environment within Marathon Health’s patient-centered model.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; certification/registration may be required by some states. CPR/BLS certification required at start.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: patient scheduling, medical record requests and abstraction, documentation, referrals.
• Record data in the medical record according to guidelines; process test results and communicate with patients.
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
