Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our PRN team. The Medical Assistant will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient-centered care and provide an exceptional guest experience, blending clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities in our care model.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, preparing medications and immunizations, assisting with procedures, and coordinating care with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred; required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as ordered by the Provider.
• Front desk duties such as scheduling, medical record requests, and referrals.
• Maintain supplies and coordinate care with the team.
