Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant in Pennsylvania to join our care team. The MA supports the physician, performs clinical tasks, and helps deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, drawing blood, injections, phlebotomy, and front-d desk support. Eligible candidates should have MA program training and CPR/BLS; phlebotomy is a plus. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of MA experience; primary care preferred.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date; phlebotomy preferred.

Mansioni

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Review previous medical information and gather updated health data for provider.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, dress wounds, assist procedures.
• Coordinate with labs for additional tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and vaccines as directed by the Provider.
• Collaborate with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate timely results to patients.
• Engage patients to drive outreach and adherence.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
