Marathon Health, LLC is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The role blends medical assisting and front-desk duties to deliver excellent patient care and a positive guest experience, working closely with a primary care physician.

Qualifications include a formal MA program, MA certification/registration (strongly preferred), CPR/BLS certification, and at least 1 year in Primary Care. Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked and cleaned.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer meds and immunizations as ordered by the Provider.
• Partner with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Record data in medical records and communicate results to patients.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
