Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and a welcoming guest experience across in-clinic and virtual settings.

The role blends administrative and clinical duties, including patient check-in, vitals, injections, minor procedures, and care coordination. A strong team approach helps us deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal MA program or related training.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred or required by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, collect specimens, assist with procedures under supervision.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per written orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
• Record data in medical records per guidelines and communicate with providers.
• Process test results and notify patients via appropriate channel.
• Support outreach to patients to improve engagement and care continuity.
• Maintain clinic supplies and equipment for treatments.
