Parkwood Behavioral Health System, a UHS facility in Desoto County, MS, is seeking a PRN Intake Registered Nurse for weekend night shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.).

The RN provides professional nursing care within the multidisciplinary treatment plan and reviews admission documentation. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and RN licensure in Mississippi; BSN preferred; psychiatric experience required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One year psychiatric nursing experience required.
• CPR training and knowledge of nursing processes expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per the multidisciplinary plan of care.
• Review medical documentation for patient admission to the hospital.
