Job summary

Helms Home Care seeks a Registered Nurse to provide infusion therapy services in patients' homes on a PRN basis. The role includes catheter access, vitals, medication administration, and patient education, with documentation via electronic charting.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license and have at least 1 year in infusion therapy or catheter care, with reliable transportation and scheduling flexibility. Mileage reimbursement and other benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines).
• Monitor vitals and conduct assessments.
• Administer medications including antibiotics, TPN, IVIG and other specialty meds.
• Educate patients on self-administration of medications.
• Document visit notes through electronic charting promptly.
