Job summary

Helms Home Care Llc is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide infusion therapy nursing services in patients' homes across Maryland. You will perform catheter care, vitals assessments, and administer medications while educating patients and documenting visits promptly.

The role requires a valid RN license and at least 1 year of infusion therapy experience; reliable transportation and strong communication with scheduling staff are essential. Expect about two visits per week.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with competence in the duties described above.
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care.
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine.
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel.
• Expect to do 2 visits per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide infusion therapy nursing services in patients' homes.
• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICCs, central lines) and vitals/assessments.
• Administer medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds) as prescribed.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication.
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly.
