Job summary

Helms Home Care Llc seeks registered nurses to provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes on a PRN basis in Leesburg, VA and surrounding areas. You will administer medications, monitor patient responses and educate patients on self-care.

Responsibilities include catheter access, vital signs, and timely documentation via electronic charting. A valid RN license and at least 1 year of infusion experience are required, with reliable transportation to client visits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 1 year infusion therapy experience or catheter maintenance.
• Reliable transportation to scheduling sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care ( peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines).
• Monitor vitals and conduct patient assessments.
• Administer medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG and other meds).
• Educate patients on self-administration of medication.
• Make and submit visit notes via electronic charting promptly.
