Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide in-home infusion therapy services to patients, delivering compassionate and personalized care. This PRN role involves performing catheter access, vitals, med administration, and education during home visits.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has infusion experience, and can reliably travel to patient residences while communicating promptly with scheduling staff.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy experience and/or catheter maintenance.
• Reliable transportation and ability to visit patients at home.
• Strong communication with scheduling staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care ( peripheral IVs, ports, PICCs).
• Conduct vitals, assessments, and administer medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG).
• Draw blood and provide patient education on self-administration.
• Document visit notes promptly via electronic charting.
