Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking registered nurses to provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes and to serve patients with compassion and personalized care. This PRN position involves home visits across North Carolina and requires an RN license with infusion experience.

Responsibilities include catheter access, vital signs, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other meds), blood draws, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with competency in infusion therapy and catheter care.
• Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance experience required.
• Reliable transportation to perform home visits and access to scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines) and monitor vitals.
• Administer medications including Abx, TPN, IVIG and other specialty meds.
• Conduct blood draws and educate patients on self-administration of medications.
• Create timely visit notes and maintain electronic charting.
