Job summary

Helms Home Care LLC seeks a registered nurse to provide infusion therapy in patients' homes across North Carolina and surrounding states. This PRN role requires skilled catheter care, IV therapy, and patient education with compassionate, personalized service.

Responsibilities include performing catheter access, IV meds (antibiotics, TPN, IVIG and other specialties), vitals, blood draws, and documenting notes promptly using our scheduling technology.

Qualifications

• RN license (state nurse license) is required.
• Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy experience.
• Current training in catheter maintenance and IV therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines).
• Monitor vitals and patient status; administer medications (antibiotics, TPN, IVIG, etc.).
• Draw blood samples and complete visit notes in electronic charting.
• Educate patients on self-administration of medications.
