Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking a registered nurse to provide infusion therapy services in patients' homes in Franklin, NC. This PRN position offers competitive pay and mileage reimbursement, with visits scheduled as needed.

You will perform catheter access, vitals, and medication administration, while delivering compassionate, personalized care. Minimum 1 year infusion therapy experience is required; a valid RN license in NC is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and competency in infusion therapy duties.
• Minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance.
• Reliable transportation and access to a printer/scanner/fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals and assessments, and administer medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds).
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication.
• Create and submit visit notes through electronic charting promptly.

Responsibilities

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws


• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication


• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

QualificationsRequirements

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above


• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care


• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine


• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel


• Expect to do 2 visits per week


• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
