The role emphasizes infection control, accurate documentation, and ongoing assessment to ensure safety, effectiveness, and patient well-being. CPR certification and active licensure are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy is required.
• Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in acute care or rehab settings is highly preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist license in state(s) of employment; CPR certification required.

Aufgaben

• Provides care utilizing infection control measures for staff and patient.
• Documents progress notes, telephone orders, and other clinical records.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessments including OASIS when appropriate.
• Plans and provides treatment for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders.
• Instructs patient/family on transfer techniques and safe equipment use.
