Job summary

Amedisys, Inc. is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to deliver home health OT services in Atkinson, Bacon & Coffee Counties under a physician-approved plan of care. This role involves visiting patients in their homes and ensuring quality care is provided.

You will ensure the plan addresses problems, document promptly, and supervise a home health aide when the RN is not active. Eligibility includes ACOTE-accredited OT education, NBCOT credentials, state license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state you are assigned to.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• NBCOT certification eligibility or completed.
• At least one year of related OT experience or approval by regional clinical leaders.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure the plan addresses identified problems and documents rationale when needed.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
