Job summary

Amedisys, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver comprehensive OT services in the home health setting, helping patients heal where they are most comfortable—at home.

This PRN role provides overflow and PTO coverage in the Chattanooga area. The position requires an active OT license in the state, ACOTE-accredited education, NBCOT eligibility, CPR certification, and at least one year of OT experience; you will document care plans and supervise aides as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires current state OT license.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• NBCOT certification eligibility or certified.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services under physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure care plan addresses identified problems; document rationale.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery; complete timely documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
