Job summary

Amedisys in the United States seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist to deliver home health OT services under physician-approved plans. You will assess patients, develop plans, and ensure safe, effective therapy in the home setting, with documentation completed promptly.

Eligible candidates have an OT license for the assigned state, ACOTE accreditation, NBCOT eligibility or certification, and at least one year of OT experience; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• ACOTE-accredited OT program graduate or equivalent.
• NBCOT certification or eligible.
• One year of related occupational therapy experience; mentoring if less than one year may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems.
• Accountable for safety and effectiveness of OT delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
